Anton is a graduate of Baldwinsville High School and has spent much of his life involved in competitive soccer. A talented goalkeeper, Anton continued his playing career at Herkimer College from 2017–2018 before advancing to the Division I level at Niagara University, where he competed from 2019–2021. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Sports Management, combining his passion for athletics with a strong foundation in business and leadership.
In addition to his role at Accelerate Sports, Anton serves as an assistant coach for the Le Moyne Men's Soccer program, helping develop collegiate athletes and contributing to one of the region’s premier soccer programs. As General Manager of Accelerate Sports, Anton oversees the day-to-day operations, programming, and strategic growth of the facility. With a passion for sports, community engagement, and athlete development, he is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where athletes of all ages can learn, compete, and thrive. Anton works closely with staff, coaches, partners, and families to ensure every program and event delivers a high-quality experience. From coordinating leagues, camps, tournaments, and special events to managing facility operations and community partnerships, he plays a key role in advancing the mission of Accelerate Sports. Committed to fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship, Anton strives to provide opportunities that help athletes build confidence, develop their skills, and create lasting memories both on and off the field. His leadership and dedication continue to drive the growth and success of Accelerate Sports as a premier destination for sports, fitness, and recreation in the community. Outside of work, Anton enjoys following his favorite teams, the Buffalo Bills and Manchester United, and remains actively involved in the soccer community throughout Central New York. |
Doug Owen

Doug is a longtime New Hartford resident, sports enthusiast, college baseball umpire, father, and retired union representative. Following his retirement in 2021, he turned his focus toward developing the Accelerate Diamond Academy, bringing years of leadership, dedication, and passion for the game to the program. Doug remains deeply involved in the local sports community, serving as a coach for New Hartford Legion Baseball, a college baseball umpire, and a high school football referee.
As Director of Academy & Travel Baseball, Doug oversees all baseball training programs, player development initiatives, and travel team operations at Accelerate Sports. He is dedicated to creating a positive, competitive environment where athletes can improve their skills, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love for the game. Through structured training programs, instructional clinics, team development, and coach mentorship, Doug strives to help players reach their full potential both on and off the field while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Outside of Accelerate Sports, Doug enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his favorite teams, the New York Yankees and the Indianapolis Colts. |
Angelina Hays
Director of Youth Programs, Adult Basketball & Volleyball

Angelina graduated from Oriskany Jr.-Sr. High School in 2020 as the Salutatorian of her class and a standout softball pitcher. She continued her athletic career at Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC), where she recorded 91.1 innings pitched and 80 strikeouts, averaging 6.13 strikeouts per game.
Angelina remains actively involved in the sport as a softball coach at Oriskany Jr.-Sr. High School and provides private softball instruction with a specialization in pitching development. Her passion for coaching and athlete development has helped numerous young athletes improve their skills and confidence on the field. As the Director of Youth Programs at Accelerate Sports, Angelina oversees a wide range of sports, camps, clinics, and recreational opportunities designed to help participants of all ages learn, grow, compete, and have fun. She also coordinates and manages the facility's Adult Basketball and Volleyball leagues, creating organized, competitive, and enjoyable experiences for players of all skill levels. Through her leadership, dedication, and commitment to fostering a positive sports environment, Angelina plays a key role in making Accelerate Sports a premier destination for athletes and families throughout the Mohawk Valley. |
Amy Gifford

Amy has been a member of the Accelerate Sports team for over six years. From Rome, New York, she graduated from Rome Free Academy, where she was a member of the soccer program. Following high school, Amy attended Mohawk Valley Community College while building her professional experience in the healthcare field.
As Administrative Manager and Manager of Camps and Parties, Amy plays an essential role in the daily operations of Accelerate Sports. She coordinates the facility’s busy schedule, manages registrations and customer communications, and serves as a key point of contact for athletes, families, and staff. Her organizational skills and attention to detail help ensure that programs, events, and facility operations run smoothly each day. Amy also oversees Accelerate’s youth camps, birthday parties, and special events, working closely with staff and families to create fun, safe, and memorable experiences for every participant. From planning camp activities and coordinating event logistics to ensuring exceptional customer service, she is dedicated to providing a welcoming environment and high-quality experiences for all who visit Accelerate Sports. |
