For Players Grades K-4th

Each Session of this program consists of 2 Training Days and 1 Game Day
Choose one day, two days or all three!

Training - Fundamental & Functional:

• Focuses on the individual player developing their overall game:
  • Improve their individual skills leading to increased confidence, comfort and intelligence with the Soccer Ball
  • Introduce new skills/moves
  • We encourage decision making, being creative and having fun
  • This is achieved by putting players in small-sided games 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4
  • players will be given many opportunities to attack, defend, dribble, pass, shoot all in game situations
  • Promote better field awareness helping players make quicker and smarter decisions in a game setting
  • Players will learn through their mistakes and be guided by our coaching staff
  • Work on a variety of different Soccer skills, concepts, and fundamentals within a fun and challenging learning environment
  • Classes are focused on ball control building each players creativity, confidence, technique & footwork

Games:

• Games:​
  • K-2nd Grade Games are played 4v4 and run as instructional games teaching the players the basics of the game: goal kicks, throw-ins, corner kicks, free kicks etc.
  • 3rd and 4th grade games are determined by level of play.  More advanced skilled players the games may be 5v5 or 6v6 instead of 7v7 based on the number of registered players
  • Games are 1 hour in length

Game times will be emailed weekly (a full schedule will be completed 1-2 weeks into the season so you can plan accordingly)

FAQS:

• Do we need to bring a ball?
  • Please have your child bring their own ball to use (size 4 or 5 ball is appropriate for this age).
  • If you don't have one, we have some to borrow.

•  Do we need to wear Shin Guards?
  • Shin Guards encouraged but not required.

• What type of shoes should my child wear?
  • Any type of sneaker will work.

• Do we wear shorts or sweatpants?
  • You can wear whatever you're comfortable in.

• Can parents use the track when our child is participating?​
  • Yes! You’re welcome to use the track while your child is in a program. Please complete a waiver at the front desk or online using this link: ​Accelerate Sports Waiver. Locker rooms are available for your convenience.​
