What is the Diamond Academy?

• ​Created for players Ages 7 & 8
• Stepping stone between Beginner Baseball and our 9-12u Diamond Academy!
• The perfect place to sharpen your skills for your Little League season.
• Travel Baseball environment without the travel
• Players will have access to our state-of-the-art facility, 83,000 sq foot indoor facility, and 3 outdoor turf fields. 
• Our focus is coaching players who have the passion and work ethic to grow as a player.
• This program is offered as a multi-month program or a seasonal program (seasonal is for players who can't commit to the full 8 months)

​What is the goal of the Diamond Academy? 

• To be regarded as a leader in the baseball community and set the example of how to operate a program that separates us from the typical programs. 
• We do this by giving all players an opportunity to play in games, no cuts or practice only players, everyone plays.
• Continue building the number of players in the Mohawk Valley and surrounding areas
• Utilize the beautiful facility we have and create an environment for young players to thrive
• Eliminate the 'need' to travel to find 'competition', our coaching staff is trained to create a competitive environment right here at Accelerate
• Limit the amount of stress and anxiety players have when it's a 'Win at all costs' mentality. We agree winning is an important part of a player's development, but at these ages, playing the game properly is more important.
• Limit the expense of traveling to tournaments and time away from family and friends. 
• Create enough teams in this program to run our own Diamond Academy leagues in the Fall and Summer.​​

Commitment for Diamond Academy Players

• NOTE: We encourage multi-sport athletes. Below is the max. level of commitment, you are not required to do everything listed below. To maximize growth as a player we encourage you to participate in as much as possible, but we understand there are other commitments​.
